The support of family and community is an important part of success in life, but we can lose sight of that in a world of brokenness, hurt and addiction. Heartland Community Church was founded in 1995 and has grown into an intentional Christian community through the efforts of CNS International Ministries, Inc. Today, the Heartland community serves as a place of healing and restoration through its recovery programs for men, women, and youth struggling with life-controlling issues. The community also includes a K-12 school, youth and children’s homes, and a 2-year Bible College.
Living life together is a vital part of healing as residents learn to build healthy relationships and are encouraged by others who have walked through the same process. In fact, many of the people who live and work in this intentional Christian community have themselves been impacted by addiction.
Women’s Recovery Program
Ladies live in a home-like environment in a rural Heartland campus while focusing completely on their relationship with Jesus Christ. At the same time, throughout Heartland’s 12-month program, they are trained in areas such as vocation, work ethic, child-rearing, and financial stewardship.
Men’s Recovery Program
Men who enroll in the 12-month program find themselves in an environment far removed from the temptations of the world, combined with the disciplines of hard work and a focus on Jesus Christ. The primary criteria for participating in the program is a willingness and desire to change.

This scholarship is available to be applied to studies at Heartland Christian College (HCC) in order to offer residents of these programs the opportunity to step into higher education. Scholarships may be applied to tuition, fees, and book purchases.
Donors interested in contributing to this fund can do so online or may call the CNSIMI office at 660-284-6212, or mail to 6417 Shelby 150, Suite A, Bethel, MO 63434.

- That staff members can focus and be refreshed, not growing weary in well-doing.
- That Heartland Recovery staff be protected from the onslaught of the enemy and walk with integrity.
