Levi describes his addiction as “a series of bad decisions that led me to a broken and desperate place” eventually losing everything and everyone that really mattered to him. That all began at the age of 17 when he dropped out of school and became involved in gang activity, using and selling drugs. By age 23 he was incarcerated and spent the next 15 years in the prison and parole system.
But that isn’t where his story ended. Listen as Levi talks about his time in the Heartland Men’s Recovery Program and going from a hopeless state to finding repentance. He encourages others that, “If you only get near Jesus Christ but never go all in with Him, you’re never going to experience what He has for you.”
